Looking Deeper – Day 4: I See You!
I think we all know Murphy’s Law: “Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.” My faith in God, His love for me, and the fact that He has a plan for my life empowers me to take that saying with a grain of salt, however there is value in anticipating “issues” and preparing for them. One scriptural example is putting on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18).
We know the enemy will try to attack our mind, heart, and decisions so we put on the helmet, breastplate, belt and sandals so we can stand. And if we have to fight we have our shield and sword. When striving for change in our marriages we should anticipate the attacks and prepare so that we can stand against them! We can let them know, “I see you…and your tricks won’t work!”
What challenges or obstacles can you identify that may try to derail the change you’re working toward?
